About Me
My name is Ichha Karoor
I'm Ichha Karoor, and my passion for ensuring every child belongs and succeeds in the classroom is deeply personal. My journey began while working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in an ABA clinic. I had the immense privilege of seeing clients improve over time until they met the standard for school readiness. It was incredibly rewarding to watch their progress!
I bring a unique, hands-on perspective to this cause, with experience working with children and their families across clinical, home, and co-op settings.
My academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Michigan State University, complemented by minors in Law Justice and Public Policy and Social Work. My coursework, including Cognitive, Social, and Child Psychology, combined with clinical expertise in administering tests like the KBIT, TOMM, and CPT, gives me a solid foundation for this advocacy work.
I've learned that maintaining composure in stressful situations and communicating effectively with people from various backgrounds are essential to driving real change.

Enhancing Task Persistence in Young Learners:
My core mission is to ensure children not only access the classroom but have the focus and drive to excel in all aspects of their life. Applying behavioral science for development, my clinical background as an RBT and psychometrist provides the foundation for this research focus. I utilize a data-driven approach to implement and study interventions that enhance persistence
